Well it’s that time again, time to give you a glimpse into another beautiful love story. This time we’re bring you Lindsey and Tyler’s Bowing Oaks Plantation wedding. We started the day thinking we were there to celebrate and document the marriage of Lindsey and Tyler, but what we soon realized was that we were actually celebrating more than just a marriage between a husband and wife, we were very much celebrating a marriage of two incredibly special families. You can tell family is very important to both Lindsey and Tyler, and you can tell their families love them both dearly. There is a moment at every wedding I find myself getting teary eyed, what can I say i’m a sucker for a good lover story, and this wedding was no exception. But seriously friends, I ugly cried at this wedding. My father passed 8 years ago, and there is not a day that goes by I don’t miss my father dearly. Lindsey’s father has also passed away and the special ways Lindsey honored him on her big day really took my breath away. I have absolutely no doubt Lindsey’s dad was smiling down at is baby girl on her wedding day.
A nervous groom is a typical sight on a wedding day, but y’all… poor Tyler. Tyler was so excited and nervous to see his bride he was literally shaking. I watched him stand there shaking like a leaf as we got Lindsey in position for the first look and I honestly wasn’t too sure he wouldn’t pass out before she told him to turn around (lol). It was so cute, he loves her so much. And when he finally did turn around to see his beautiful bride, his reaction was nothing short of magical. Tyler absolutely LOST IT. His reaction was what we photographers live for, I can’t wait for you to see it in the photos below.
As the ceremony drew near the clouds turned dark. The one thing you should know about Florida is we have the weirdest weather. One minute we can have beautiful sunny Florida weather and the next a small tropical storm can come through. As we wrapped up photos of the wedding party the rain began… and it rained… and it rained… and it rained. No bride wants rain on her wedding day. I know everyone tries to soften the blow by saying “rain on your wedding day is good luck,” don’t be that person (lol.) No bride wants to hear rain is a sign of good luck, rain is a sign of your gorgeous outdoor wedding being pushed in doors. Now don’t get us wrong, Bowing Oaks is beautiful inside and out, but Lindsey and Tyler had their hearts set on being married outdoors in the beautiful sunny Florida weather. So we all began to pray, God is good y’all! Right as ceremony time approached the clouds parted and Lindsey and Tyler had the ceremony of their dreams, it was truly a magical.
So friends, grab your tissues and let us give you a glimpse into the day that forever changed Lindsey and Tyler’s lives… their wedding day.
